the Morehead Odyssey policies

All of our escape rooms are completely private. Once you book a room, it’s reserved exclusively for your group! Whether you’re a small team or a large party, you’ll have the entire experience to yourselves to explore, solve, and escape together.

For safety reasons, the maximum group size able to play through the room at one time is 10 players.
We also implement a minimum group size of 3 players.

Players under the age of 14 must be accompanied by at least one adult for the game.

Groups arriving more than 15 minutes late to their appointed time have the option to play the room with reduced time left in their reservation or reschedule to the next available time.

Cancellations must occur 24 hours before the time of the reservation to be eligible for a full refund. After the 24 hour point, we will be unable to provide a refund.

All players of our room will be required to sign our online waiver before entering the room. Signees must be over the age of 18 years old. If you are under 18 years old, you will need a legal guardian to sign the waiver.

At this time, we are not allowing pictures or videos inside the room. However, we do have space for a picture with a themed background after completing the room that’s perfect for posting on social media!

At this time, we are not allowing food or drinks into the room to prevent damage to puzzles and ensure the safety of our guests.

1. Reservation and Attendance Policies
1.1 No‑Show Policy
If a group or individual reserves a room but does not attend their scheduled session, they are subject to penalties up to and including paying the full booking fee
This policy applies especially during high‑demand periods, including Residence Week, where no‑shows significantly reduce availability and revenue.
1.2 Late Arrival Policy
Groups must arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled start time.
If a group arrives more than 15 minutes late, Chapel Thrill Escapes reserves the right to:
Deny entry to the room, and
Charge the full booking fee.
This ensures sessions run on time and do not disrupt subsequent bookings.
2. Payment and Billing Policies
2.1 Refunds & Cancellations
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled session may be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
Cancellations made within 24 hours may result in inability to rebook at a future time, both during Resident’s Week and normal operating times
3. Gameplay and Conduct Policies
3.1 Safety & Behavior
Players must follow all staff instructions.
Unsafe behavior, harassment, or refusal to follow rules may result in removal from the room without refund.
3.2 Room Capacity
Each room has a strict maximum capacity for safety and puzzle design reasons.
Groups may not exceed the posted capacity under any circumstances.

By completing a booking, all participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these policies
